Independent inspection-readiness support
Find the gaps before an official inspection does.
A practical mock inspection gives your operation a fresh set of eyes, a prioritized view of risk, and a clear plan for corrective action.
Confidential consulting · Real-world observations · Prioritized corrective actions
Preparation is easier when you know where to focus.
We review the operation through a food-safety lens while paying attention to the realities of your menu, staffing, equipment, and workflow. The purpose is not to “catch” employees—it is to uncover weak points before they become violations or repeat problems.
Important distinction
Independent consulting, not enforcement
Bille Food Safety Consulting is an independent food-safety consulting business and is not a government or regulatory agency. The review is designed to help operators prepare, prioritize corrections, and improve day-to-day controls.
A structured review of the operation
The review can be broad or focused. Typical areas include:
Food handling
Time, temperature, and contamination controls
Receiving, cold and hot holding, cooking, cooling, reheating, thawing, storage separation, utensil use, and ready-to-eat food handling.
People and practices
Employee hygiene and active supervision
Handwashing, glove practices, illness response, task changes, manager oversight, and whether policies are reflected in daily behavior.
Facility conditions
Cleaning, sanitizing, equipment, and pests
Food-contact surfaces, warewashing, sanitizer use, maintenance concerns, plumbing, waste handling, and evidence of pest activity.
Management systems
Logs, labeling, procedures, and records
Date marking, labels, temperature records, cleaning schedules, approved sources, allergen processes, and corrective-action follow-through.
From walkthrough to a usable action plan
Findings are organized so your team knows what deserves attention first.
01
Opening conversation
We confirm the operation’s priorities, recent concerns, and any areas you want reviewed closely.
02
Operational walkthrough
We observe practices, conditions, records, and workflow across the relevant parts of the operation.
03
Prioritized debrief
You receive clear findings, immediate corrections where appropriate, and a sequenced plan for follow-up.
Questions restaurant operators ask
Clear answers before you decide on the right next step.
Will this guarantee we pass an inspection?
No. No consultant can guarantee a regulatory result. The service helps identify gaps and improve readiness.
Should employees know it is a mock inspection?
That depends on your goal. An announced review supports learning; a less-scripted review can show how routines hold up during normal operations.
What happens after the walkthrough?
Findings are explained by priority, with practical corrective actions and areas that managers should verify over time.
Can training be added afterward?
Yes. Training can be focused on the patterns observed during the review, making it more relevant to the team.
